The True Parrot

 

I have been writing adout the best animal. It is a parrot.

  The best animal is a parrot.

I think a true parrot is the best pet in the world. 

I think parrots are the best pet because they can talk.

They will copy you as well.

I also think that parrots are the best pet because they will

stay with you when you let them out of their cage.

And you can take them out with you.

You can have them to make space noises and other noises.

And they can send messages.

I also like parrots because they will tell you things.

I think parrots are the best animals in the world.

My class has been learning about the circulatory system here is a example.

 

I have been making the body. It took me two days to get it on to the slides and finish it. Do you like my body?.

I have been writing about the Ice dragon and the Man. This is what I have written.

A man found an ice dragon and they made friends by playing together.

The next day they went for a fly over the city and then people saw them.

Then they chased the dragon and the man away.

So  the dragon wanted revenge on the city and so did the man.

So they found heaps of dragons and destroyed the city to pieces.

The man went for another fly over the hills and more people saw them.

  The dragons that the man collected had people on them and the humans got destroyed.

The dragons went back home.Then the girl fire dragon was having a baby

and it was red with orange stripes.

After a while the baby dragon knew how to fly.

I have been writing a story with four different parts of a story in it .

My eighth birthday

On my birthday I woke up really early, when I got up I

only had one present because I was going to have a party on December 5th.
I got a bag that could flip sides, I also got a harmonica.
Somebody gave me a chocolate bar and some new clothes,

the pants were black and the t-shirt was white and green.
I had a very fun time and mum gave me 10 dollars.

My birthday was at inflatable world.
My uncle gave me about 10 dollars.
The cake was a cool creeper cake with

chocolate in the middle and some green icing. 

We had pizza for food at my birthday party and some juice.
The flavors of the pizza were cheesy pizza and pepperoni pizza.

The next day we went to the park for an hour.
I went on the water slide and it was wet, then  I went on the swing. When we got

home I went on roblox.

Then it was dinner time, then we went to bed.

A few months later it was my sister's birthday  

My sister got up really early and we celebrated

by giving her a cake, we where in quarantine due to covid-19.
Her cake was vanilla and chocolate.
My sister git two presents, one was a new

bike and I gave her two dollars and a new colouring book.
My uncle gave her twenty dollars and some hatchimals.

One of the hatchimals was a unicorn the other

two were a toy puppy and a little toy

rabbit.

She was turning 6 years old.

My baby sister is 5 months old, she can already

turn her whole body around onto her tummy all by herself.

I think by the time she is 9

months old she would be able to walk. 

My mum slept in and me and Kenzie had time to make my mum a birthday card.

When mum got up we gave her some chocolate and some flowers and the birthday card.

Mum loved her birthday presents and

the flowers were red and blue and they were very big, they smelt very good.

   

My sleepover with Jacob

This  weekend on  Saturday  and Sunday Jacob and I had a sleepover .

While Jacob was here,  we stuck glow sticks on each other late at night then

we went down to uncles and knocked on his door. When he opened

the door he could only see the glow sticks on our bodies and he took

a photo on his phone, his phone was 

White and black he took three whole photos then we watched a movie

(the smurfs) and went to bed. The next day we had some breakfast

then we went to Willowbank and fed some animals.

Then we went to the chipmunks for some lunch and a play. When we

got home we went on the sega then Jacob went home. 

      

My paper tower

To make the paper tower we had three bits of paper. and some tape.

We had to plan,build,test,and modify. we rolled one piece of paper

to a circle. the other to bits of paper.

we used some support bits, then I had to video it and post it on my blog.

technlogy challenge

                            

Last week we had a technology challenge. We had to make a ramp

so a ball would roll down it.

Mine didn’t work that well, it only went about 3 cm. We only could use three

bits of paper and some tape. We had to plan, design build,

test, modify and  our ramp.

Spider facts

1. A spider is an Arachnid not an insect.
2. Spiders have 8 legs while insects only have 6 legs
3. There are around forty thousand different types of spiders.
4. Giant huntsman has a leg span 30cm long.
5. Spiders eat more insects than bats and birds.

I vacuum around the house, I also

just learnt how to start the

washing machine.

I also take the rubbish and recycling out

when it's needed.

Sometimes I help take the washing off

the line. 

I am saving up for an electric guitar, each day

I do my chores mum gives me one dollar

but mostly I enjoy being helpful.

mentos experement

Mentos and coke experiment.

A couple weeks ago my sister and I did a mentos experiment with different

types of fizzy drinks and I learnt that out of lemonade, fanta,

raspberry, cola and diet coke the diet coke was the one that exploded the most.

My favourite part was that my theory  was right about

the diet coke would be the most fizziest one out of them all, i think

it would be the fizziest because it was bigger than all the other bottles

and more sugar.

My short stories

Everyday I write short stories to improve my hand writing, 

here is some of my work.

1) One day there was a big block of chocolate, Jenny was looking at

one of her potions when the potion fell on to the big block of chocolate.

Suddenly the chocolate bar turned into a chihuahua and Jenny got an awful fright.

2) Once upon a time there was a little boy, he put his new shoes on and started thinking

about a snake. Suddenly the little boy turned into a snake... magic shoes he thought but 

he would never be able to turn back because he had to wear both shoes and he only had a tail. 

3) Once upon a time there was an ice cream truck. One day the man filled the ice cream tank and headed out to sell his ice cream but when he went to give out the ice cream it was empty. It had been stolen, Rachel had stolen the ice cream because she wanted some but had no money.

4) One day a family of four went out for a walk, the brother fell over and sprained his ankle.

He had to go to the hospital, luckily it wasn't broken but he had to rest his leg at home.

How to make banana pancakes.

How to make banana pancakes.

On Sunday we made banana pancakes from scratch, I helped by mashing
the banana and mixing the batter.

I also tasted the first pancake and it was delicious.

Ingredients:

1 - ½ cups all purpose flour

2 tablespoons sugar

2 -½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

2 ripe bananas

2 eggs

1 -½ cups of milk

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

3 tablespoons melted butter

How to:

Add all your dry ingredients to a large bowl gently mix then add, egg, butter,
vanilla, milk and mashed banana.

Thoroughly mix your batter - it will look lumpy because of the banana (that's okay),
if its thick add a little bit more milk.

Now your ready to cook on medium to low heat in a pan with a little butter,
when your batter starts to bubble it’s reddy to flip. Now you can taste test.
