How to make banana pancakes.

How to make banana pancakes.

On Sunday we made banana pancakes from scratch, I helped by mashing
the banana and mixing the batter.
I also tasted the first pancake and it was delicious.

Ingredients:

1 - ½ cups all purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 -½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 ripe bananas
2 eggs
1 -½ cups of milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons melted butter

How to:
Add all your dry ingredients to a large bowl gently mix then add, egg, butter,
vanilla, milk and mashed banana.
Thoroughly mix your batter - it will look lumpy because of the banana (that's okay),
if its thick add a little bit more milk.
Now your ready to cook on medium to low heat in a pan with a little butter,
when your batter starts to bubble it’s reddy to flip. Now you can taste test.

  1. Let me first say Zander. It was so great talking to you this morning.I can't believe how much your little sister has grown. She is so lucky to have you as a brother and Kenzie for a sister.
What a great idea to blog the recipe.
I wouldn't have thought to add banana's.I usually just make them simple.Next time I will try it with banana's.
That was nice that you helped make them.
Have a great week and remember to blog,as there are lots of staff who read them.

I will get the ingredients in the next couple of days and see if my daughter Sam,is keen to cook them.I always think food tastes better if someone else cooks it😊.

  4. Kia ora Zander.
I, like Mrs Cassidy, have only made plain pancakes but these sound great and would be good for you. It is good to start cooking when you are young.
I am enjoying doing lots of cooking during lockdown but haven't done much baking so I should try these. It seems that it would make quite a few.
Thank you for the recipe. :)
