  1. A spider is an Arachnid not an insect.
  2. Spiders have 8 legs while insects only have 6 legs
  3. There are around forty thousand different types of spiders.
  4. Giant huntsman has a leg span 30cm long.
  5. Spiders eat more insects than bats and birds.

    I am SO GLAD that the spiders we have in the house Zander,are nowhere as near as BIG as the picture!.
    I didn't know there were so many different species.I wonder how they know there are that many.Do you think someone goes around with a camera and notebook to record each one they find?.I wonder if they have included the one that scared Little Miss Muffett😯
